This is it!!!!!
I have really enjoyed these blogs this semester. I have talked about many different things from changes in cyber laws to new products. I have gotten all of my information from one source which is Information Week. I like this magazine because it has industry specific information and it keeps you updated with their daily email updates. It really keeps me reading because you all know this industry and how it changes on a daily basis. I think it is very important to keep everyone updated on new trends because in this business everyone needs to know. I have enjoyed reading everyone else's blogs this semester and wish everyone the best as well.

Siri losing her charm????
In Fridays Information Week Daily update they were talking about how Apple's Siri is losing her charm. I think this is true, but its not really charm that she is losing. I think its her newness that she is losing. When the iPhone 4S came out last year everyone was fascinated with Siri and what they could get her to say. There were even sites on the internet that were dedicated to getting her to say crazy random things. I really think that the buzz surrounding her is fading and thats what these so called experts are talking about. She is a really good addition to the iPhone line and I think that it works great.

Cloud Technology needing its own culture???
In yesterdays daily update, Information Week talked about how with all of the new cloud technology out there that it needs its own culture. I think that the ICloud has its own culture all ready. With most of apples products using this technology doesn't it mean that their cloud already has its own culture. I think it does even though I don't use it much. It is great to have all of your shared items like iTunes be available on your cloud, but different companies are going to use their cloud for different things. Some companies may have their cloud for shared documents or even sharing their own information with each team member. Whatever the clouds use I think that they will each develop their own culture like apple has.

Apple to ditch google maps????
I yesterdays Information Week Daily there is an interesting article that covers that maybe Apple will dump Google maps in its IOS6. This may or may not be a good thing if you use the product a lot, but it could mean that apple is going the way of microsoft and creating their own version of a streets and trips. This could be a good thing for apple fans because it would possibly lead to a product that you could use on your Mac as well. This could be an interesting development also because of the developing case between google and oracle over java. That is going to turn out to be an interesting lawsuit to say the least, but I think that the introduction of a new apple based map program would be great for the industry and could give apple fans something to talk about.

Samsung Galaxy S III.....what it the point????
In todays Information Week daily update I was forced to read about the new Samsung Galaxy III that will compete with the iPhone and other smart phones. Personally I don't see the point in it competing with other smart phones. For people that love large screens this phone would be great because it is like a mini HDTV, but phones now are meant to be small and sleek and this thing is borderline brick. I don't know why someone would want a screen that is so big that the phone almost won't fit in their hand. Also i don't know what the point of anyone competing with the iPhone anymore. I mean if you go by apples record breaking sales figures for last quarter and who has what in the mall you will see that 9 out of 10 people have iPhones. With the incompatibility of ITunes and windows media it would be a real pain to reformat all of your music to work on your Samsung Galaxy. You will have to make the decision on what phone to buy, but I don't see the point of these new so called competing smart phones.
