Well it has been a nice week off, but back to business with two more new classes this semester. I feel confident that I will learn a lot of new things to add to my focus of what IT and business is about. In the army I personally don't deal much with telecommunications only radio problems from the aircraft which does not really have anything to do with business. I do know that communication between businesses is a lifeline. Telecommunications not only allows businesses to sell and gain information from consumers and prospective consumers, but it also keeps businesses in touch with each other. It can keep the webstore for example in touch with the warehouse or allow a potential customer complete a survey. I am very interested to learn more.
Information Security is an important part of not only out systems at work, but our home PC's as well. Antivirus software is just a small part of the entire package that involves Information security. Most businesses do indeed use antivirus software, but they also have enterprise software in place to secure all aspects of the systems such as computers, phones, and other means of commerce. I am starting to get the picture that all of these courses are starting to fit together such as information secutiry and ecommerce and project management as well as telecommunications. I am very excited about how things will go this semester.
